Confused about CTF v junior ISA

Hi, I have children who have CTFs, we picked the account that invests rather than just saves, so the value has fluctuated. I've recently changed their savings accounts to get better rates on savings and thought I'd have a look at the CTFs too, but I am very confused about whether it's best to leave them as they are or change to junior ISAs. We really only opened them because they had the 'gift' from the government and only save £15 on direct debit a month into them. Savings accounts are where the birthday/Christmas money and regular larger standing orders go. Is there a particular benefit from having a junior ISA over a CTF? Or would it make little difference as the higher amounts are in savings accounts anyway? I am thinking leave them alone and save the hassle of changing them, but part of me wonders if I'm missing something?

Junior ISAs have more choice on where to invest. They might also have lower charges.
However it depends where they are invested and how much is in them as to whether it is worth switching. I have left my investment CTFs where they are for now (with F&C) as I have not found a compelling reason to move them yet.0
