Medicines on aircraft

Hi, I'm flying to Spain soon takning lots of medicines, some on liquid form. Can anyone tell me whether the hold of the aircraft would be too cold for these medicines - will they freeze? If I have to take them on as hand luggage, I'm going to be over the limit restrictions for liquid in the cabin.

i might be wrong, but i thought that liquid restrictions didn't apply to medicine? More than happy to be corrected though!

id ring the airline to be sure

but id imagine a doctors letter would square things with security

Let me set your mind at ease. Your medicines will NOT freeze in the hold. {I take medicines away in the hold luggage twice a year}
Any medication that you require for the flight put in a resealable clear plastic bag {frezer type} and have it ready for inspection at security} you MAY be asked to taste it in front of the officer {to date it has not happened to me} and if you feel happier get a letter from your doctor to verify it.
also A WORD TO THE WISE GET A REPEAT PERSCRIPTION FROM YOUR DOCTOR PRIOR TO YOUR TRIP just incase you need any replacement while away
