I've come to the conclusion that these are utter nonsense.
I don't get many notifications, but even those I do get are pointless.
2 days ago I got an email for https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/69747459#Comment_69747459
I don't remember how many of the 4 'thankers' had acknowledged the post at that time, but it had a WOW factor of 999!
Personally I'd prefer to pay an extra 10p and get a half decent listing magazine, an not support the Daily Fail, but that's beside the point.
