Insurance Quote Win

I got my Home (buildings and contents) insurance renewal the other week : £189 from Swinton. I was not impressed.
I'd already had a quote from RIAS, as I am now 50.. that was £135, so I called Swinton back and told them. They instantly dropped their quote to £140. Hmm.
That started me thinking - "that was too easy". So I tried a couple of comparison sites, and the best by a mile was AA - £101 with accidental damage.. I was on a roll by now, so I tried that through topcashback, and found I could get £38.38 on that same policy.
I paid this morning - £101, and I'm getting £38 cashback, so total cost is £63.
:money:
