Hi there,
I have just graduated from my Masters however have studied outside of the U.K. (China)
Would I still be eligible for a graduate account?
Additionally am I likely to be able to get an overdraft facility without current employment?
Kind regards
Jack

You'd need to check terms and conditions of the account which will all be on the bank website. Though I know for the Barclays one you have to pay for it, you get some benefits none of which I can remember.
Overdraft and lending facilities are more to do with how you manage your account. If you've always been in the green and rarely hit 0 or gone below 0 you should be able to get an overdraft, but you will need to go in and talk to the bank/talk to them on the phone. You'll obviously automatically get an overdraft if you get a graduate account.0 -
Thanks for the advice. Barclays require a 6 month work contract minimum (unless you are already their customer) so as I'm currently searching for work I don't fulfil this criteria.
From what I can see HSBC might be ok for eligibility.0 -
I have applied for a HSBC account online. I will let ppl know for future reference whether I am successful .0
