Advice needed for Student investing

Hi all,
I'm a sponsored student bringing in £975 pm with no loans or anything. After being a frequent user of these forums and an avid reader of Monevator etc I am going to start Passive investing. I have a considerable amount saved up already as a nest egg which I do not want to touch. I am wanting to start with £250 intially then £50-100 pcm from then on. I will be matching the investments with cash savings like for like just in case.
What I would like to know is which broker do you guys here recommended for my small amounts? I've been looking at the usual Hargreaves, CSD, AJ bell and so on and I just can't figure out which one will be the best for me to go with to invest in Vanguard lifestrategy 80 Acc
Hargreaves is more expensive but I can invest into Vanguard lifestrategy 80 Acc with a minimum initial deposit of £100. But with CSD I need to start with £500 but is cheaper than any of the others I can find.
Some advice for this student in need would be very much appreciated.
Thank
SI

As a frequent user of these forums and an avid reader of Monevator etc, you'll presumably be familiar with comparison articles like http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/cheap-online-sharedealing and http://monevator.com/compare-uk-cheapest-online-brokers/?
As you suggest, there may be other Ts & Cs beyond the headlines, but if you want to start with less than £500 then a broker with a minimum of £500 is clearly unsuitable, unless you're prepared to wait, only you can decide this....0
