A garage, according to the Oxford Dictionary, is
A building for housing a motor vehicle or vehicles:
Surely they can park their vehicles in their garages?
What exactly are they doing that is "disrespectful"?
Surely when you bought the property you understood ( your solicitor explained) the implication of a 999 year lease?
You clearly did not want a flat and yet in effect this is what you have?
Consider selling and buying a conventional house?0 -
i own one of the garages and lease the others - at no charge actually . my conveyancer told me when i bought the property that i owned the building and the no one can make any alterations without my permission. after about a year of living there i noticed that while i was not in one of the neighbours had drilled onto my wall to put up a security light and alarm over his garage without asking me . i was really upset and actually it was a shoddy job and they had damaged may wall and displaced the garage facia - i got a quote for him to rectify and he said he owned the garage . actually i own the building and he's defaced my building . I got it repaired myself a month or so ago and went on holiday last week and they've drill again putting a new light up and making another hole . i am so angry i want to take it down - where do i stand here .?0
