can somebody help most young savers is a max of £1200 as granddaughter is only 6 years old and has reached this limit can i go into an isa or a young saver with a higher limit without losing any interest or do i have to start again and just bank her money in an account

You could also contribute to her CTF/JISA - the CTF is now transferrable to the more flexible JISA.

OP - if this is the case, put the £1200 into another account (as per the articles linked by xylophone) and start another regular saver for another year's funding. Rinse and repeat....0
