I am on line registering my new boiler guarantee..
Valliant site ask the most stupid questions, firstly they asked for he serial number, well i think i figured that out as there was a long number on a sticker, although it does not state S/N or anything next to it and the Valliant site gives no hints as to the length or location of this, so i got passed that ( i think lol) then i go onto the next page and it is asking "what type of gas do i have?" seriously!! i have no idea what these mean
LPG (P)
H(NAT.GAS)
LPG(B)
Towns Gas (LPG)
all i know it as is gas? any clues....feeling like a dumb blond at the moment....:rotfl::rotfl:

It will be natural gas unless you have a gas tank which gas maybe lpg0

LPG means "a form of bottled gas, whether that's an orange bottle you change, or a big buried tank in the garden, or a strange community that has their private gas tank filled and they all use it".
So, removing this as an option (because you'd know about an odd system) leaves you with the 2nd one. That's the only one in the list that is "normal, everyday gas, you know, gas, like most people get".
So I'd guess at H(NAT.GAS). Where NAT would mean National.
So, if there's nothing odd about the house, location, etc .... go for that one.0 -
I think that NAT would mean natural as in natural gas.0

Yup...natural Gas (gas piped in like most people have and sourced from the ground with very little done to it).0

With added onion odour.0

Why isn't your installer registering it for you ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
When I had mine installed I sent the form via snail mail in as installer had a section to fill in (name of installer, company name and gas safe registered number etc) and used one of the stickers with the serial number/bar code.
But this was over 4 years ago so might of changed.0 -
