Lloyds Bank Choice Reward credit card - choice points

I was thinking of applying for the Choice Rewards credit card from Lloyds: http://www.lloydsbank.com/credit-cards/choice-rewards.asp

I know the APR is high, but I will be paying by DD in full.

Regarding the Choice Points, I can see from their website they only have a limited number of retailers participating in the scheme (https://choicerewards.lloydsbank.com/). Also, I can't see the full list of retailers participating.

When seeing this page (https://choicerewards.lloydsbank.com/SpendPoints/ShoppingCatalogue.aspx), it shows a small number of retailers offering rewards. However, reading this sentence on that webpage - 'A wide choice of vouchers at your favourite high street retailers, from Argos to Homebase as well as online specialists like iTunes and Amazon.' I assume the website shows an example of retailers participating? Or are there more retailers participating in the scheme?

Hope you can advise. Anyone who have this card, what are your experiences, and what retailers you have offers from.

Hello,

Depending on your status you may be offered three of the APRS listed on the product's information page; there is a 12 month interest free period (from account opening) so long as you keep to the Terms and Conditions (i.e. Making the minimum monthly payment, no over limit, no late payments).

If you hold the Club Lloyds account £12 of the £24 fee is refunded automatically to your statement.

For the first six months you'll earn 20 points per £1 qualifying spend on your AmEx issued card (although there are several places where you'd have to use the MasterCard which isn't doubled up).

You can convert your points from the retailers listed on the site above, convert it into cash back which is credited to your next statement (but doesn't count towards the minimum repayment) or into Avios if you travel a lot and use "Air Miles".

Or are the 9 companies (see logo on website) only partcipating as per website and if so the sentence 'A wide choice of vouchers at your favourite high street retailers is a big miskeading, as 9 retailers is not a wide range.

In terms of cashback, have you tried accumulating points that might be worth more than £100?

All of the merchants listed on there are the ones you can redeem your Choice points into vouchers for. There are no further retailers when logging in to Online Banking.

I no longer hold the Choice Rewards card myself (I switched to Santander 123 for the lengthy interest free period) so I can't comment re: cashback but it did help this time last year for Christmas presents (both Boots and Argos) and also Mothering Sunday earlier on this year.
