I am having trouble with AC218 of the CT600 and when i check the figures they seam to match fully.
This is one month accounts with no trade but it won't accept the old numbers for some reason.
The company can not afford a UK accountant and African one we used before seams to have stopped replying to emails when i asked about them to do this job.

Well, for one thing, your balance sheet shows the balance on the Profit and Loss Account of £151, whereas your retained profit calculation shows £152.
Hence the error message.0 -

I'm getting this error on the CT60:
Original return already received for this period.
But on the email it says this:
The submission for reference was received on 20-12-2015. Unfortunately it could not be accepted as it failed HMRC data checks.
Just feeling frustrated.0 -
BUMP
What should i do?0 -
You might not be getting a lot of responses as most people here use accountants for precisely this kind of reason
CT600 is a much bigger deal than personal tax returns!

The two error codes make no sense as one claims HMRC have already approved and they other one says they have not (aka they are the opposite error codes)0 -

I think you are now getting an error message as you have already submitted the document to HMRC ... albeit they then rejected it.
I think what you need to do is open the pdf document again, and towards the bottom of the page it says
"Unsatisfactory Return"
Click that and on the new page you should be able to "unlog" the submission.
Then make the changes required to the document and resubmit.
Good luck!0
