No, yet again, I have no problem with SP. Have done billing online every three months, check tariffs, and when too far in credit, they refund. And it has been this way for twenty plus years now. And it includes time at university, where they were very good, and a bonus £120 last winter because I was unemployed.

    Move along the bus.

Ha ha:rotfl:. No idea what that means?

The bus has recently had it's engine replaced and unfortunately it is misfiring badly. Scottish Power will tell you that themselves, you don't have to accept what the Original Poster or others have said.

I tried to get off the bus recently after similar problems but even then the driver tripped me up and charged me for the next three stops.:)

You are obviously content with SP for the last twenty years. Excellent. You will have paid over the odds for the privilege.

I wonder how you thought your good experiences will help the SP customers who have significant problems? Perhaps they will take comfort that some bloke in Cornwall is thrilled about their service and prices. :D
  • Highly amused by the 'can't be bothered to read your post, but.....' Approach. Bravo!
Phoning them is a waste of time. If I wanted to listen to Adele for 2 hours, I'd buy the album. They employ imbeciles.

I speak two languages, but have had indecipherable English letters that make no sense to any human being. They just want money, by any means.
They have now refunded approximately half of what they owe, followed by reclaiming more than this by rebilling to June 2013. Totally nonsensical.
I will send them a pivot table. Detailing amounts claimed in relation to cost per unit. They don't have anyone capable of actually understanding it, but the Ombudsman do!
I'm here to spread the word, more than rectify anything. Clearly I need to write to the relevant authorities, and resolve this car crash.
Please listen to me, and everyone sending the 'avoid' message.
I've been with many providers. Most seem to be at least competent. Scottish Power have neither the backbone, nor the mathematical acumen to be providing energy, or bills, to anyone.
You want to risk it? Please do. I'll be looking out for your thread in 12 months, and I'll have the decency to actually help you in retrieving your hard earned cash.
I will update when I have achieved the only reasonable outcome.
    Evening all!
