Order cancelled and refunded to e-wallet

Hi All,
My first post so please be kind.
I ordered an item from otheruk.com - In the interests of fairness, I have friends who have ordered also and received good service but that is far from my experience.
The company cancelled my order stating they had no stock 17 days following me placing the order. I received no confirmation until i emailed them on the time taken for delivery and which point it was informed.
They stated the following "I have issued you with a refund into your e-wallet which can be used on our website.". This is where my problem is... I paid by credit card and thus i believe they should refund the money back to my card and not to the e-wallet.
As experienced with my many attempts to contact them, the have gone unanswered.
What are my rights in getting this refund paid onto my card as i do not wish to get anything further from their site. I only wanted the one item.
Thanks in advance

You have the right to be refunded by the way you paid.0

Thanks, this is what i thought. It is just getting them to do it is now my issue. Although they seem to take notice if i post on their instagram photo's by deleting my post.
They have just responded telling me to contact customer service which i did 5 days ago to request the refund to my card.
The consumer fight goes on.0 -
Contact your card issuer of you continue to have problems0
-
Contact your card companyYou keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
-
What will my card issuer do? The cost of the product was less than £100 therefore section 75(?) wouldn't apply right? For clarity it was £45 in total.0

Chargeback...0
-
As above, chargeback on the basis of goods not received. A refund to eWallet (which is the equivalent of gift vouchers or store credit) for THEIR breach of contract is not on ... in other words, they've not refunded you.0
-
As others have said - chargeback is the way to go.
This MSE article may help.
Have you seen the telephone number for their 'Customer Services team' in their T&Cs?0 -
I did indeed, but as i have a number of friends who have purchased from them and received their goods, i was not alarmed by this.
Although there is no answer when calling the number recently.0
