Just wondered if anyone else is having any problems with them; there are lots of unsatisfied customers on Twitter and I have an unresolved complaint from 5th November despite calling 4 times; each spending over and hour on hold and despite using Resolver and sending them Tweets continually.
Contemplating just issuing court proceedings for the costs of a new dishwasher and my inconvenience (and a days pay for when their engineer cancelled with just a few hours notice)

If you have a problem then it needs to be recorded in writing. There has to be an audit trail. Without this thoughts of Court action are futile.
I am not aware of Tweets being deemed evidence in Court. Even if they are you have to be realistic with this. The Judge is likely to be old school trained and a member of the establishment. Tweets do not form a marriage made in heaven here.
Perhaps you could say what the problem is and why it is the responsibility of Domestic and General? You may then get some responses.
Hope this helps.0 -

There have been plenty of convictions of people who have sent Tweets. Normally to threaten, harass or cause fear. The tweets are the evidence in the case.0 -

But this is not the normal, or accepted, practice for producing an audit trail when complaining about a product or service. Old fashioned letters written on paper, or emails put onto paper are the sort of things to put in front of a Judge in a small claims case.0
