in Credit cards
Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a new phone on eBay, which will cost between £400 and £450. I would like to pay £300 on my credit card and pay the rest using my debit card/normal bank payment. Is there any way I would be able to do this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have done this before. You add funds to your paypal account with your debit card, and then use the balance to pay some of the purchase, and then the rest with a credit card.0

Ahh okay great. Some people are saying online the transfers from your bank to paypal is immediate (same day) and others are saying it can take 3-5days, however this could be confused with transferring from paypal to bank. Could you confirm this? Thanks.0

bank to paypal isnt immediate, but there is ways round it, send payment to someone you know and trust using bank account, and then they send it back, its then in your paypal account0

I dont remember it being as long as 5 days, I am sure it as instant (within the same day anyway). But then, having looked at the paypal ebsite it does say it can take up to 4 working days.0 -
I'm not sure how long a transfer using Direct Debit actually takes, but if you load the money using your debit card it will be instant.0

For me (Lloyds) it's always instant: I made payment using FPI and then logged onto paypal: it's there already.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0
