If anyone can help I'll be grateful. I would like to completely cancel and delete one of the two free aol uk email addresses I have. I have tried following the many links on Google (including You Tube instructions - the page they show is different from mine) but with no success. The suggested options to click on don't seem to exist. I have the correct email address, password and security question answer etc.

I really feel uncomfortable just not using it because it will still receive incoming emails. If anyone knows of a way of deleting/cancelling this aol.uk email address I'll be glad of any instructions. I really have tried but, so far, it seems to be impossible. (If all else fails and there is no alternative can I just cancel both aol email addresses permanently so that no emails arrive in AOL in boxes for me at all?)

Thank you for any help.

Thank you RumRat. I've dialled the number and I'm on hold at present. I'll be delighted if it works and will let you know.

Update at 11.20 pm. A very helpful gentleman with an American accent answered. He took the details and closed the email address for me. He was reassuring saying that any emails to that address would 'bounce back' and went on to say that I could use the one remaining AOL email address I still have as normal. I'm very impressed. Your help is appreciated, RumRat.
