I can't View my Enhanced PDF Statements at all...

I have the Save as/print options etc

there is no PDF download button is it a glitch or will it be fixed soon?

I can save as PDF (But statement is in old format)

Is anyone else having this problem??

I don't think Barclaycard offers an option to download a copy of a full (paper) statement.

I have my statements emailed to me every month:

    Statements > Statement settings

The option is at the bottom of the page. Barclaycard will email a password protected full statement in PDF format every month.

If it's any help, I can't download my full statements in PDF format either. :)

I guess Barclaycard has removed the option for some reason. Perhaps contact them to enquire?

Hmm.. It was like that for me ever since I switched to paper-less statements last year. It'd have been better if they offered a PDF download option (like most banks do).

I asked them on Secure message they said

I am sorry to learn that you are unable to download the statement in PDF format on your online account.

May I inform you that we have identified an incident where our customer's are unable to download the statements in PDF format and we have referred this incident to our Technical team and they are working to resolve this issue.

We have recently experienced issues across all browsers with our new PDF statements and we are currently investigating this issue and will ensure that any accounts which have been impacted will be corrected.

Hence, I would request you to please wait for the issue to be resolved fully.

Please accept our sincere apologise for any inconvenience caused to you.

so hopefully it will be fixed soon
  • Just for info.....I am also having same problem downloading the new statements. I have identified it as coding in the Barclaycard statement that is not compatable with the inbuilt PDF browser in Google Chrome.

I have notified Barclaycard accordingly last week.

Until Barclaycard fix this problem, I use an Internet Explorer browser to download them. Another temporary option is to disable the Google Chrome inbuilt PDF browser.

Thanks for the tip about disabling the built-in Chrome PDF viewer. This is more convenient than starting up Internet Explorer just to download the statement. For the benefit of readers, here are instructions to download the Barclaycard statement on Chrome:

    1. Start a new browser tab and type chrome://plugins/ in the address bar.
    2. Find the Chrome PDF Viewer plugin and tick Disable.
    3. Click on the link to your Barclaycard statement. It will now be simply downloaded.
    4. Re-enable the plugin by unticking the Disable box.

P.S. It's nearly May and they still haven't fixed this!
