Ideal World - Faulty goods

Hi, looking for advice I bought a projector light from Ideal world on easy pay in october still got 1 payment to go!! One of the lights will not work I emailed customer services they will not help as its outside of the 14 day home approval and they are trying to say this is also for faulty goods. I raised a complaint through the resolver link on the main site. Is there anything else I can do?

Ideal World has a terrible reputation. A guide to your consumer rights can be found here.

You can call them on 0330 3321300. It's a standard rate call, unlike their other published numbers which are premium rate.

You can do a Chargeback if they don't play ball.

    A chargeback probably won't work.

From that MSE article you linked to:
Does it apply to all consumer rights?

No, it's more for when goods don’t arrive or are faulty, rather than future issues.
But still worth a phone call though.
