Won a trip to LA!

Hi everyone!
I only started comping last month. I entered a competition with asos and Adidas and got an email 2 days ago to say I has won a 5 day trip for 2 to Los Angeles including flighs, 4 star hotel and 500$ spending money!
I can't believe it, I always thought of myself as unlucky and I am in complete shock!
I am worried it is now not legit and I won't get the prize, although I do remember entering. How do people know when the win is legit or not? I'm very skeptical.
Also, I emailed back as requested to say I still agree to terms and conditions and I am happy to be contacted by the promoter to fulfil the prize - but I haven't heard anything back! What should I do?

As I said, first ever win, so pretty clueless as to how it all works.

    There was nothing further mentioned in the email such how to proceed or a contact person in the signature?

    I have a contact email address and it said to confirm that I still agreed to the terms and conditions and I was happy to be contacted to fulfil the prize. I replied to the email address but haven't heard anything else. I have Googled the competition again and it does say closing date 12/12 winners will be contacted by email in 5 days.

    Just so scared to get my hopes up!

    I won a holiday to LA 2 years ago, you will love it

    Once you get your hotel etc feel free to drop me a DM if you want some places to see etc

    I stayed at the Andaz hotel

    Dont worry too much about it and just wait until after Xmas before contacting again, I am sure it will be legit, especially as if you can find the original comp

    Many congratulations !! i agree with the other poster just wait until after xmas and possibly the new year.At least you've confirmed straight away and not missed any deadlines.

    Congrats! :D I'd give them a few more days & contact them again. Similar happened to me when I won a holiday, they'd given me the wrong email to reply to.

    I would give them a week but then they should reply latest.. You said it's ADIDAS? So maybe you can call somebody in their service department?
