Roof sealing - worth it?

Options
I've received a leaflet through the door (I'm in Erskine in Scotland) from a company called Weathersealed, who are offering a 9 stage treatment for roofs, including inspecting it, repairing ridges and verges, repairing and replacing damaged tiles, pressure washing the roof, applying a fungicidal wash, applying two coats of a coating system and cleaning gutters and surrounding areas.

It all sounds very good and seems like an alternative to complete replacement of our somewhat aged 35-ish year old roof. I haven't had the quote yet, but has anyone else had something like this done and is it value for money?

Dianne.

Why would you want to coat roof tiles - what will this acheive?
Not sure what the point of the fungicidal wash is, either.
Any moss on the roof tiles is cosmetic only, and would not affect the ability of the roof to do the job it's intended to do.
