Missing Music Collection

Hello There
Will try to keep it brief.
Just noticed that my WD nas does not show a folder for the seven hundred odd Cd's which I know it contains! Just a Public Folder which is empty. I'm using Vista, and it is not appearing in "My Computer", alongside the "C" drive etc, as it used to.
I know it is still there, because the Sonos system is able to show it, and play from it, using the Hudl which is it's current controller.
This has come to light because I have been given a CD which I wish to rip to the nas. I use dbpoweramp, which requires a destination folder naturally. I just can't find it!
The Nas is a WD My Book World Edition.
I don't want to fiddle about, and end up losing the collection, which did take some months to install. Does anybody have any ideas please?

Reboot the NAS with the computer switched on then if it does not show refresh the network.
My old My Book World Edition NAS had a nice HD in it - the rest went in the bin !0 -
Thanks molerat.
I take it, that is nas off then on at the mains?
That action has produced an error message when I attempt to open the drive contents. "Windows cannot access \\an ip address\\public".
The network diagnose button comes up with, "no network problems on computer".
The shortcut within "My Computer" does show three folders. Shared music, pictures and videos. All of them empty. However, I do recall that the cd collection folder is called downloads, or somesuch. Within Sonos it is just Music library.
Err, "refresh the network"? How do I do this please?
You used the Hard Drive only from your Worldbook?0 -
Sorted! Thanks molerat.0
