Hi All
Ordered some stuff from Craghoppers, noticed had an email to say it was delivered and it hasn't been. No surprise to learns that the (so called) courier is Hermes!
Anyways I contacted Craghoppers and they want me to print off a declaration, sign it, scan/email or post it back to them. Is this allowed? Seems a bit unfair that I have lost out and now have to spend more time /effort/cost doing this just to get my money back?
Thinking of just going through PayPal otherwise but wanted to check that won't just say to complete the form
Thanks for reading

I can't see that asking you to do this is in any way unreasonable. If you go via paypal, it could well be the case that Craghoppers will provide the 'proof' of delivery and paypal will side with them. I'd personally spend the 10 minutes getting the form emailed to them, it's not an onerous task.0

If you have a printer and scanner then the request seems reasonable to me, since the time/effort/cost should be minimal.
If you don't have a printer then I can see there is a bit of a problem. I would have thought if you wrote out the exact wording of the declaration and signed it then that would be sufficient, but suggest you check first. You can then quibble over the cost of a stamp if you wish.
Personally I think their request is reasonable so would go along with it. (Assuming the wording on the declaration is reasonable.)0 -
Probably would have taken you only a little more time than it took you to make your post. Cost to you is one sheet of A4 and a tiny bit of printer ink...No free lunch, and no free laptop

I found an electronic/scanned signature and have used that, thanks everyone0
