Morning all :)
Thanks for starting us off CCL :)

So far today I have:
Dog walk #1
Used HG stewed fruit from freezer for breakfast rather than bought fresh fruit
Fed chickens and collected 1 egg :)
OH has done the hoovering and the dishwasher :T

Yep, slow start for me this morning :o, feeling a bit yucky and headachey :(

Still to do:
Shop at Mr S - trying to spread the big monthly / Christmas shop around a bit to get the best deals Done, used £15 of Nectar points off the bill, and bought a really HUGE bottle of Aerial washing liquid for £7, which will last me at least 3 months :D (bottles half the size were £8, maybe it is a discontinued size)
Lunch out today, OH's treat, as he needs to pop to his golf club. This sounds expensive but is actually really cheap (the food / restaurant, anyway ) 2 meals, nothing fancy, but perfectly acceptable, plus drinks, came to just over £10 :)
Leftovers for supper Done
Second dog walk this afternoon OH did this
Pop to sales unit to see if any new stock needed There was a biggish space where a set of 1950s dessert bowls had sold - so I filled it with something else :)
Also need to go to the farm suppliers for more chicken food Done
Any surveys, FPL etc No surveys so far today :(
Prepare RM survey stuff that needs posting tomorrow and Saturday Done
Found £11 worth of shopping vouchers (gifted from postal survey) which I can use at Iceland :D This will cover a bit more of the giant Christmas / monthly shop :T

Better get shopping bags etc ready!
Hope everyone has a good day :)

Oooh, thanks for the tip off on MSing DNMS!! I’ve always just done e-mystery shopping so reviewing spending on apps/websites and refund procedures... Never actually gone into a shop to buy anything... Maybe I should rethink this money-making venture!!

• Hi All

Sometimes I post because I am messing up my own life, sometimes it takes others!

How cross am I??? Just been very badly let down by an individual who I have moved heaven and earth to help. Fortunately not a family member of someone who I love, but all the same. Cross, cross, cross. Right vent over, feel better for that and the 2 kilos of cadburys biscuits eaten.

As life goes it was a wonderful start to my day, lovely lady gave me flowers as a thank you and made me feel so appreciated and then added up work stuff and calculated I am getting a bonus in 3 months which I am sharing with my whole team.

So the ying and yang of life continues. Why can it never be an all good day.

My body hurts from the 12000 calories eaten in last 40 minutes! May explode.

Evening Frugalistas,
Busy day, some of which has been money saving:
*Belated birthday breakfast at lovely farm shop. No effect on bank account as used a combination of funds from our Leisure/Entertainment Piggy & some money leftover from our anniversary.
*Grocery shopping at Sainsbury's which we paid for with nectar points. Lots of festive supplies included but couldn't believe there were no British hams. There were Dutch ones, Danish ones but the only British ones were expensive ready-glazed 'Taste the difference' range & we like to do our own. Will get one from local butcher as we want to support UK pig farmers. Think UK pork is higher welfare too.
*Yellow stickered beef shin chunks for £1-50. Frozen for nice SC stew in Jan. Also 2 ys desserts less than half price & bag of rocket for pence.
*Christmas Tree decorated. Container-grown nordmann fir. 5th year we have brought it in & trimmed it up. It looks nice outside on the courtyard the rest of the year too.
*Used up final remnants of a mascara by standing it in a mug of boiling water for a few mins before applying.
*No downstairs heating on. It's ridiculously warm. Really missing cold crisp frosty mornings.
*1p roadkill. Big massive wow!
*Relaxing evening planned as have been out a lot recently so am planning to read library book & possibly knit some of my newly cast on pair of socks. I'm knitting them for myself for a change. Gorgeous yarn - a Christmas gift last year. 100% merino wool, hand-dyed in shades of purple. Sort of spiral pattern. Pretty. Plan to wear over black fishnets.
Ok, can't type any more as Cat has appeared & is headbutting my phone. Have a nice night all. Feeling a bit panicky about budget. Mr f taking himself off to see Star Wars tomorrow. I'm going to use that time to check in to the budget.

Made base of final chocolate slab for gifts, will try and do white choc piping later when smalls in bed
DH already in bed,as on overtime so starting at 12
See if I cba to write a card or two.....
Text some people, see if I can drop some gifts off tomorrow with one
Try and do an hours work tonight so I can have a cuppa with above friend tomorrow if free
Check banking
Update tax return, see if I can find out how to do partnership return online, can only seem to find form to print, may have to call them tomorrow. Believ I'm due a decent refund, which will go to debt

Hi All

Foxgloves - I did a double take for a minute when you said about Cat headbutting the phone, till I realised you were not referring to our own Cat :) lol, you know when you've spent too much time on the forums when these things happen. I am very envious of you doing your whole Christmas shop in nectar points.

LegoMum- peanut butter cookies are one of my favourites. Yum.

Maria - sorry someone was mean to you. Xx

Our credit card bill came today and shows we've reduced the balance by £389 including the min payment this month which I am really happy about.

Night all
