Courier damage

I used My Parcel delivery to send my damaged drone back to DJI. The drone was in it's product box, wrapped in bubble wrap then put into a larger box. I paid £107 which included insurance up to £1000. DJI refused to accept the parcel as they said the package was damaged and after 2 weeks the package was returned. It looked like someone had been playing football with it as it was crumpled and torn. The product box also had slight damage but My Parcel delivery are refusing to send again free of charge or refund the postage as they say the insurance does not cover the packaging. My argument is DJI refused to sign for the delivery as the packaging was so badly damaged. Surely this is the fault of My Parcel Delivery and they should refund the postage, and even the cost of a new box!!

    They provided the service.
    They haven't damaged the item.
It maybe your argument but I doubt their T&Cs cover what you want.

Out of interest, which courier did you use? As 'My Parcel delivery' is just a comparison website,
  • I used DPD and the original packaging is also damaged
