How can I send a fax for free from email or online?

I need to send just one or two pages to a UK fax machine and have heard that you can do this via either a website or from your email account.
I don't really want end up paying for a month's use or signing up to anything, I just want to send a couple of pages. Does anyone know how or where this can be done?
Thanks
SS

You could try efax (http://www.efax.co.uk) which has a free trial, but you do have to add payment details from what I remember.
http://www.tpc.int/ looks like it might be free, but is a little bit more complicated looking!0
