Hi
I've received an email (and regularly do) from PayPal@e.paypal.co.uk addressed to me by my first and last name.
I've spoken to PayPal and they stated that did the email address come from service@paypal.co.uk? I said, no, but as above. I was told to forward the email onto their spoof email address, and they would respond, but they haven't which was weeks ago.
So, am wondering if this email is legit or not?
Hope someone can clarify.
Many thanks

It's a scam, ignore it, note the address:
@e.paypal.co.uk
it has an e before paypal
Always consider emails hostile until proven otherwise, especially financial emails. Don't click on links in emails either.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
I keep getting e-mails from PayPal telling me to review my monthly spending. Trouble is, since creating the account (had to do it years ago in order to purchase something) I have not used it and have no monthly activity. I don't think it is a scam/spam/phish but it still gets deleted.0

PayPal really are a PITA because they usually do contain links within their emails which can get people used to clicking links in emails they think came from PayPal. IMO they should never include such links.0 -
What did the email say?
I never click the links in emails and will generally just log into my paypal account to see if there are any messages on the website or if I need to update anything as per the email.
I get the 'review your monthly spending' emails and just ignore them.0 -
Does it still need saying that one should never click links inside an e-mail purporting to be from your bank or some other financial company? If it's a legit e-mail, go to the site directly.
Always wise to err on the side of caution.0 -

I've received many marketing emails from @e.paypay.co.uk addresses. Usually noreply@e.paypal.co.uk.
As you say, e.paypal.co.uk is a sub-domain of paypal.co.uk.
Contrary to what Fightsback suggests, the from address in an email doesn't indicate whether the email itself is genuine or not.Fightsback wrote: »It's a scam, ignore it, note the address:
