Is EE breaking the law?

It seems poor practice that the charge only appears on the screen above where you're currently filling in the form.
It only shows up when you select an answer to the 'Are you a pay monthly or pay as you go customer, or a small business customer?', but appears alongside or under the previous question.
There also seems to be no validation on the form. It seemed to submit correctly with a selection of made-up details.0 -
Had you gone into a EE shop there would have been no charge.0

Precisely this.ThumbRemote wrote: »It seems poor practice that the charge only appears on the screen above where you're currently filling in the form.

Overpowers seems a bit of a stretch to me. It's easily missed imo as it shows up above an MCQ you've just read rather than below. I don't think it is unreasonable to suggest the average person could easily miss this as we read down, not up.Yep, as soon as type of contract is selected the £10.20 charge writing overpowers the rest of the screen

This is quite true but also quite damning in itself. Does it really cost £10.20 for EE to post a sim card first class in an A5 envelope? Seems a touch extortionate but I guess that's besides the OP.The_ICT_Engineer wrote: »Had you gone into a EE shop there would have been no charge.0
