When is the cashback on my Alliance and Leicester credit card credited? Is it monthly or at a certain point in the year?

What does it stay either on the back of your statement or on their website?0

I have this card. AFAIK the cashback bit was abolished a couple of years ago.therivierakid wrote: »When is the cashback on my Alliance and Leicester credit card credited? Is it monthly or at a certain point in the year?

It comes up on the online statement saying Cashback Earned This Month but there's no sign of when it's credited. I looked at the paper statement I got through the post but that doesn't give any clues.
I'll have a dig around on the website.*removed by forumteam - please do not advertise in signatures*0 -

How much do you get then % wise?
I used to have a card from A&L which gave cashback but as ad44downey says the cashback was axed a few years back.
I still kept the card and have had some interest free transfers from them since but I now use Egg money for cashback (1%).0 -
A&L got rid of cashback but kept it on for those who also have a current account with them.
It's 0.5% and creditted in January. I think if you've accumulated less than £10 you lose it.0 -
Why stick with them then when Egg money (and others) will give you double the cashback?0
-
A&L cashback is credited to the account each January, but the minimum they will now pay is £10 and any smaller amount is lost, it doesn't roll over into the following year.
The old pre-MBNA statements were more helpful, they actually stated 'MoneyBack coming to you in January'.0 -
Perhaps because A&L Moneyback card has an unrivalled 10-year history of paying cashback! While many others have been & gone in that time.
I've had cashback now for the last 3 years at 1% no problems at all, unlike some that pay 3% for 2 weeks but only if you spend exactly ££66.39 at a particular branch of Woolies!:D
I used to have the A&L MBNA card and thought I was a good customer to them spending an average of £6k a year on the card but they cancelled it so I moved on - no hard feelings on my part - no loyalty on my part either I moved on to where I could get a better deal for me.
That's the name of the game these days.0
