    As well as Tim Hale you could try:

    The DIY Investor by Andy Bell which covers things in a more generic way than Tim Hale.

    The downside to this book is that there is a fair bit in there on tax advantages of differing wrappers and options for pension drawdown all of which change over time so worth checking specific "rules" at the time they become relevant to you.
