Switched to E.on from Extra Energy - EE have cancelled all out bills and huge credit

I emailed Extra Energy after the switch had completed (10th Oct) and they eventually got back to me and said that the final bill will be ready in 48hrs and a refund would take up to 6 weeks.
When I logged into EE website I found that they had cancelled all the bills we had paid and the account is £1600 credit. The refund is due in around Christmas Eve. I can never get through to them on the phone and they haven't answered my emails.
Should I be expecting this large sum to refunded then a huge bill to arrive later?!

When I logged into EE website I found that they had cancelled all the bills we had paid and the account is £1600 credit. have you checked recently - they did that to many accounts but seem to have corrected it now The refund is due in around Christmas Eve. again, not a chance I can never get through to them on the phone and they haven't answered my emails. you never can and they never do
Should I be expecting this large sum to refunded then a huge bill to arrive later?!you are unlikely to get either a bill or a refund any time soon. If you do get through or they reply to an e-mail all you get is lies and stalling tactics0 -

I can see them doing a rebill and the credit been incorrect, someone will check that amount trust me inc getting their own readsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
