How many current accounts have you opened within a short period of time?

I recently asked the following question: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5377147
I have opened three new current accounts within the last month (two involved switching). I want to open one more. The last time I opened a new account was in 2013.
I have a few questions:
1) What is the maximum number of accounts you have opened in quick succession?
2) Is there any risk to your credit report opening current accounts in quick succession?
3) Is there any risk having too many (5) current accounts without overdrafts?
I already have a mortgage and I have a very good credit history. I don't want to spoil this.

There is no evidence that applying for many current accounts in a short space of time would be detrimental in any way. If you don't have any requirement for a large amount of credit in the near future it's all irrelevant anyway.
Credit scores as calculated by credit reference agencies are pretty much irrelevant anyway as no lender will be looking at them. Nor will lenders apply the same criteria as CRAs when they determine their willingness to lend to you.0
