They normally don't want a letter from your doctor or the fibro organisation they will want to know what the DVLA have said. Most Insurers have underwriters who have done courses on medical conditions so if you tell them the condition and whether the DVLA have restricted your licence they will be able to advise you if there is any extra.
With a lot of conditions they do not load the premium (Its connected to the disability discrimination act).
Give your Insurers a call and see what they say0 -
I have spoken with my doctor who checked up with the DVLA and you do not have to notify them if you have fibromyalgia:j0

Thats good news.
I didn't think it would be a problem.
It would be sensible to ring your Insurers (Make a note of the persons full name, date & time) and tell them. They will ask you if the dvla were advised and if they imposed any conditions on your licence. You can tell them they are aware and there are no conditions.
Your Insurers should then say no problem and note your file, if the Insurers do try and place a load post back up here as they wouldn't normally (See Raskazz's post number 9 on this thread which is spot on)0
