having trouble finding an insurance company that covers leased cars, i.e. not owned or registered to you but to the leasing company.

only one I can find is Admiral, who I used for the first year, and they want nearly £500 with 3yrs ncb

thanks

Many insurers will cover you, but only if the lease is at least 24 months.

I've no idea, whether that quote is competitive or not, as you don't state your details or that of the vehicle.

many insurers won't, that's why I'm asking here

    the lease is for 24months
    it's a Citroen C2 Loeb
proposer: female, 37y/o, full license 12 yrs, no claims/convictions last 5 yrs
additional: spouse, 40y/o, full license 18yrs, no claims/convictions last 5 yrs
    3yrs ncb
car is owned by and registered to Citroen Finance

I've rang and completed online forms for loads of insurers only to find you have to be the owner/keeper... frankly I'm sick of looking, especially when you fill out a form then 5 pages in it tells you you have to be the owner

tried sites like go-compare and moneysupermarket, even googled and found no suitable insurer

I now realise that many use the same form and check with the same insurers for prices... getting desparate now

We deal with Allianz Cornhill at work for our fleet of leased vehicles. Not sure if they do individuals though.
