Seller cancelled sale and refunded but I want to leave feedback

I bought something a week ago for a birthday present. It still hadn't arrived as of today. Anyway, I got an email earlier saying the order has been cancelled as it is not in stock and I have been refunded. I wanted to leave negative feedback as obviously I wouldn't have bought from them had I known it wasn't in stock a week ago and now need to replace the present that was due at the weekend. However, it seems that I don't have the option to leave (negative) feedback for some reason. I also thought that an auction could only be cancelled if I agreed to it? Is there anything I can do as I am really annoyed by this?

The seller will get a defect for cancelling the sale. It depends how much they sell to how much this will impact them. As others have said, it is not really worth thinking about too much.0
