Hello
Mrs Caronoel and i are considering moving out west, from the wilds of Surrey
Looking along the Crossrail western extension, where is not too built up or spoiled by aircraft noise?
Budget would be £1.8 - 2.2m

Not if you've been there...0 -
Have you considered hiring a realtor to help search for properties, in that price range you shouldn't have too much trouble getting someone.0

Hi Caronoel,
For that tight budget you should still be able to find a nice river-side mansion in Reading, which is already only 35min away from Paddington.0 -
Caversham is nice and depending where you are is a walk to Reading station0

Problem is that there is very little for sale in that price range there, but it is nice though.
With that budget, there's places around in the nearby (out of almost everyone's price range) villages...they are nice for a reason! Places like Waltham St Lawrence. How close to a station do you want to be?! Near a station is always going to be built up.0 -
Waltham St Lawrence does look lovely. Excellent suggestion.
I'd be happy to do a slightly longer commute for an area like that.
I'll ping the local EAs to keep an eye out for something suitable. we are in no rush0
