Morning chums had a great day yesterday with the book club Christmas
'do ' in the morning then took my DGS Ben to the cinema and as i had a voucher for 40% off for the Odeon plus my CEA ticket it only cost £4.77 for the two of usbargain I also had a Brewers Fayre £15.00 off voucher from the points that had accrued so we treated ourselves to a slap up nosh afterwards.Ben really needs feeding up he is so skinny bless him great film and Mark Rylance was very good as the Russian spy.
Today I am off to see my pal in Dartford for the day as Ben will watch the boys after school until I get back.
Then tonight its quiz night at our local, so another busy day.Tomorrow is Ben's birthday and he is 20, so I expect I will be spending most of the day with him.His best friend comes home from his Uni on Thursday so I am making the most of him while he is at a loose end.
right better get a wriggle on ,hopefully most of the rush hour traffic will have cleared the M2 by now and I'll get a clear run
Have a good day everyone what ever you are doing

Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one. Phone call from the surgery, my sample showed up an infection, no wonder I have been feeling off. I know they said something in hospital, but said they were not going to treat it. I have obviously been cooking it for 6 months. OH has gone for his INR so will pick up the script whilst he is there.
Yesterday's visit went off ok. Had a job to get J out of the sewing room. She went home with a couple of goodies from my stash.
Its a cold damp day, glad we do not have to go out. Will sort out supper shortly, bacon eggs etc me thinks.
The laundry was almost dry when it was brought in, left it on the airer in the sitting room, need to try and get it ironed today.0 -
Morning all,
Soggy and dull outside today
Mrs LW - Sounds like a lovely opportunity. Enjoy
Toyed with the idea of walking to the Home Bargains shop to see if they had any Christmas gift bags but decided I'd leave it till next week when I am off work. Posted the 'by hand' cards this morning and wrapped the last few presents.
I am working in class again this afternoon which looks like it will be fun as the calendar says it's Panto time!
Meatloaf for dinner tonight. Have a good day all0 -
Morning all (only just).
Nmlc i dont understand how people cant smell their own odour either. Theres a fine line between a normal body odour and a bacteria fueled stink.
Just got back from visiting Mom, she's had a few good days but she's not too good today. She is not eating or drinking apparently but she drank my flavoured water in one go. I think maybe she's just fed up with drinking the same things.... Tea, blackcurrant juice and those meal drinks. I'll get her some flavoured water when i go shopping.
Met an old friend i used to walk to the school with when our kids were little. I havent seen her for ages. She is such a lovely person inside and out. She donated a kidney to a friend 8 years back. Good to know she is still healthy and her remaining kidney working fine. I miss her friendly face. She doesnt smile she 'beams'.
Not much to do in the house this afternoon. Did it all yesterday. No doubt i can find something to do.
Blood pressure still on the low side, but not as low as yesterday.
Have a wonderful time Mrs LW.

Tonight I received the worst news a parent can. My youngest son was found dead this afternoon.
We are devastated, he was only 45, far too young to die, and has left 4 children without a father.0 -

Csarina I just don't know what to say. Nothing I say will help anyway. But thinking of you and sending my most sincere condolences to you, your family and of course the four children of your DS."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
