To meet the minimum pay-in you could pay in £50 every day if that was convenient for you (more needed in Februarys).
You can move the money either by Standing Order, or manually by Faster Payments.
If you use SOs, avoid the end of the month (26th onward) as weekend and bank holidays can push your payment into the next month.
Probably best to avoid the 1st of the month (before Lloyds etc. have paid the interest) if you're siphoning off the interest.
Tesco send SOs on the due date even at weekends/BHs. Santander 'months' are not calendar months, but counted from the date of opening the account.Eco Miser
