Yeah that was the one. I've since found a refurbished Acer E5-573 on argos' section on ebay for the same price £299. 15.6" screen, i5 4th gen, 2.2GHz, 1TB of storage, i think it says 4GB ram in the title but it also mentions 8GB SSD, what does this mean?

Acer E5-573 15.6 Inch Intel 2.2GHz 4GB 1TB Windows 8 Laptop - Black.

Would you say this means it comes with 4GB RAM with the option of an 8GB upgrade or that it comes with 8GB?

From the title I'd assume this was 4 GB of RAM. Unforunately Argos appear to either have made a balls up with the listing or not been paying attention as the item specifics list it with 8 GB of RAM.

We've now got two conflicting pieces of information.

Checking that particular model (Aspire E5-57) with Acers website it appears to have 4 GB of RAM as standard.

I'd say that it's got 4 GB of RAM.
