I recently set up a business on Ebay and purchased an item for re-sale at a later date.
Unfortunately due to bad packing it's arrived damaged, I may be able to repair I'm not sure but have contacted the buyer to show the issues with pictures and have been asked what I want to do.
I would like a partial refund so requested it but that was several days ago and I've not had a response so may have to reluctantly open a case. Can I ask Ebay to sort out a refund or is my only official option a return ?

You can request a refund and if seller agrees and is a business seller you will get a label to return the item.
