i have just got back to car 17 minutes late (paid £6 parking fee) to find penalty notice for £120 or £70 if paid within 7 days
Help!!!! i dont want to pay this but worried about consequences
the company is carparking & select services Ltd
it asks for cash or cheque payment wont take debit or credit card
They are based 21 chester street mansfield ng19 6ng
Can anyone give advice please

They are not members of either the BPA or the IAS Approved Operator Scheme, therefore they have no means of accessing you personal details via the DVLA to pursue this any further.
So you ignore this. Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to make any contact with this outfit.
If they do obtain your details, then something very seriously will have gone wrong. Please come back in the extremely unlikely event of receiving anything through the post.

Today my daughter and I ( 2 cars ) both received tickets at Coopers Terrace. The car park had a pay and display machine but this was just a stump covered in yellow and black stripy sticky paper. It said private land permit holders or pay at machine, but the machine was not there, so I could not pay.
The company is Carparking and Select services Ltd of Mansfield Road. They do not have a website, you cannot pay by debit card only by cheque The fine is £70 or £120 after 7 days. The contravention code is a 2 and then a 3 in another box. I cannot look up this code. It also says Day Zone Green ?
Is this company sub contracted to the council?
The envelope enclosed the parking charge notice said 'Penalty Charge Notice Enclosed'. I dont know if this makes a difference
Any advice please is helpful
