Help to Buy ISA

I have been investing in the stock market for a few years now, probably with the ultimate aim of getting a house deposit together.
I have next to zero cash savings.
Is putting away £200 a month into a help-to-buy ISA as much of a no-brainer as it sounds to me?

Although if you have zero cash savings then it may be worth building up those alongside so you don't need to withdraw cash from the HTB ISA for any emergency.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
They may have changed it but you used to only be able to buy a new build. Which isn't for everyone.0

The HTB ISA never had a 'new built only' requirement.0
