Praise for Hermes

Just to buck the trend and bring a balance to the Hate Hermes threads (sometimes, I admit, with good cause), but I can't be the only person in the country that has never had a problem with Hermes, but praise where it's due.

Parcel collected 5.00p.m. Friday evening in Wiltshire, placed in my hands this morning (Monday), at 10.00 a.m.

We have a great local delivery man I have had nothing but good service from him I'm glad to say :-)

I've always had good service from Hermes, whether sending a package myself, or having something I've purchased delivered to me.

I think the trouble is that people with a gripe shout loudly about a problem that might occur, whilst those more than happy with the service tend not to make a murmur, so it's only the negatives that get heard & can put people off of dealing with the organisation.

It's the same with Royal Mail, to me the service they offer has always been superb, yet you hear lots of moans & complaints about them from some people.

My local driver is a miserable old git The previous ones were fine smiley. My parcels never arrive on the day he gets them, always next day. The 2 I sent last week were delivered within a few hours of courier receipt.

I have 2 drivers round here. they split the week both great.. Never had an issue with Hermes
