Sellers agent want a copy of the survey

The fact the sellers seem to be bombarding the surveyor with calls suggests to me they didn't know the extent of the issues.
As it has no value to you anymore i really don't see why you wouldn't want to share the details with them.
It just looks bad on you in my opinion.
Yes you incurred costs, they have also potentially lost other offers whilst they had taken it off the market to your "purchase" - there were no winners here.
Just be nice and email them report.Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...
Pet Peeves.... queues, vain people and hypocrites ..not necessarily in that order.0 -
I don't think it's the huge moral issue that some imply, but it's certainly sensible to act in one's own self-interest.
Giving the agent nothing is likely to count against you if they later market another property which takes your fancy.0 -

If it's as bad as claimed, then a new buyer wouldn't be having a survey full-stop unless open to the issues with the house, thus saving a number of potential buyers money.
My house, the previous survey from a potential buyer was there for me to read. There were a couple of potential issues, I chose to proceed despite that... I flagged them up to *my* surveyor to pay particular attention to.0
