Can my boss prioritise annual leave allocation for those with kids first?

I have to say that reading OP's previous posts makes this one quiet confusing. It would seem that OP started his job in July, so clearly hasn't been affected personally by previous year's arrangements. He also says that his boss is in the US and he is the only one of his team in his office, so again, no clear how this is affecting him.
Hi - I've left that role now and managed to get my old role back with my previous company.0 -

Yep was quite a few of us moaning about it...0 -
It is my opinion that parents with children should get priority for leave at Christmas
Why?
I have loads of stuff to sort out in the three days between Christmas and New Year?
What if I don't want to have children in my life? Should that mean I miss out on every Christmas holiday during my life?0 -
It really does go to show that you really can’t please all of the people all of the time...0

Sorry I thought you said that it would now be lottery, so why assume that by your actions, you would now get the time off? And if you are not making things up, then you've only been back with the company for less than 2 months, and you think it is ok to come back and throwing such an upheaval into people's life?
If all you're saying is true, how about updating us? How was it dealt with in the end, and did you get the three days off whilst someone who had assumed they were and made plans are now told then will need to work?0
