Halifax Rewards Clarity Application

Hi there,

I want to apply for the Halifax Rewards Clarity*. Which, apparently gives £5 a month cashback for every month you spend £300 on the card. I'm also confuse as when reading the Top Travel Credit Cards section I found the Halifax Clarity Mastercard with a link that takes me to the exact same webpage as the Halifax Rewards Clarity*. Is this the same card? Does anyone that applied recently know if the offer still valid as when I chick the link in the Credit Card Rewards section on this website i land in Halifax Clarity credit card but there is not mention of the £5 reward.
Then how did you apply for the card to receive the offer?

Click it again and this time read the draft credit card T&Cs, specifically section 11.


They used to tell you in the 'common enquiries' section that branch applications were required for the Reward variant, but that's not there now.

I applied for a Reward Clarity over the phone. I think the Clarity automatically becomes the Reward Clarity if you meet the current account/paying in criteria when you apply.

The £5 reward is when you spend £300 or more in the month's accounting period AND you have a Halifax Reward current a/c.

You don't need a Reward current account. Any Halifax current account will do, as stated in condition 11.2

Oh, sorry.....only half right then!
Since I have a Reward a/c I just assumed...... silly me!
