On the other hand, I know some people who've never defaulted on anything yet they love all those saving tips, and they subscribe to this site and watch Martin on TV. :money:
But there are ways to improve the history to obtain some credit, such as utilising those pre paid top up cards with a credit builder set up, where they treat your monthly payments as repayment for a "loan". I am pretty sure having one of those for 12 months and paying it on time is how i managed to obtain the credit cards i have now. (i have bad credit myself for the next year or so so know a bit myself). This site was established 12 years ago when there wasn't that much around. I still remember the old style forums where you read posts using a newsreader. There weren't many on UK consumer subjects, in fact most were American and the UK ones were more about local issues.
You must be old
On your request: http://consumer.newbeginningsresources.co.uk/credit/ It shouldn't be a problem because it's totally non-commercial and there are no ads.
Quite impressed with that, you seem to have put effort into your content. Seems as though it is still a work in progress though. What are your traffic levels like at the moment? Have you tried getting any links to your content yet?
I guess if you could think about something that someone with bad credit history would be interested in and it has some sort of relationship to your site, like avoiding bailiffs or what have you, you could write some articles for my site and i would happily give you some links in the content. You would benefit from the links, i would benefit from the content / people clicking on ads.
And i may be interested in having you write some content and paying you for it, provided it is not too expensive :money:0 -

Aspiring? ;-) I guess there are, it would probably be a nice sort of income for stay at home types with kids looking to make a bit of money. I can't quite describe everything i know clearly because in some respects there is a bit of a knack to ranking a website, you either comprehend it easily or suffer for years doing things that are not useful. Over the years i have read a lot about SEO and think i have developed a good way of working out what works and what doesn't.If you think £20K is peanuts, then would you kindly explain why and what you're earnings are?...
My WHY answer would be because i have experienced windows of time that show the true potential, which makes my attempt look poultry. When you rank page 1 of google for a good keyword, if you put your ads in peoples faces there is potential for make 30-40 quid a day off that one page, maybe more. But you have to have a good site that doesn't look like junk / spam or eventually you can suffer consequences, like a manual action penalty which de indexes your site from google and = no more money
I say well done to the op for making that amount, considering he/she has admitted to not being passionate about anything.
Thanks, its nice to know i have some skill or talent

I'm mature and have life experience, unlike those kids who think they know it all just because they were born with a touch screen in their hand! :snow_laugYou must be old
Thank you.:dance:Quite impressed with that, you seem to have put effort into your content.
As you say, it's still work in progress so not yet.Seems as though it is still a work in progress though. What are your traffic levels like at the moment? Have you tried getting any links to your content yet?
I have a few friends in the anti-bailiff world but bailiffs and bad credit don't go together as much as you think. In fact, most bailiff action is over non-credit debts such as parking and traffic violations, court fines and council tax. Bailiffs cannot be used to recover credit debts unless they are subject to a court judgment (CCJ).I guess if you could think about something that someone with bad credit history would be interested in and it has some sort of relationship to your site, like avoiding bailiffs or what have you,

You don't seem very keen on ladies who choose to look after their own kids rather than entrusting them to strangers while pursuing a career... Mums with kids can be a good source of revenue. :whistle:Aspiring? ;-) I guess there are, it would probably be a nice sort of income for stay at home types with kids looking to make a bit of money.Big corporations take advantage of the unwary, it's time we learned how to deal with them:dance::dance::dance:Any comments are based on personal experience and interest in consumer matters, they do not constitute advice.0 -

Nah, i don't mean it in a derogatory way, just a way of describing people who are after a small income boost instead of world domination.0 -
