What happens when the icon appears? Does it affect the operation of the computer at all? My guess would be that it's having difficulty establishing a connection between the router and the exchange so it has limited (i.e. none) ability to transmit and receive data.0

it just close's the internet connection.
could it have anything to do with the drivers needing updating?Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
The computer can connect to the router, but there's no link to the internet.
Could be many reasons, I assume you're on ADSL to switch providers so could be interference on phone line, badly configured router etc.0 -
apparently every thing else works fine like his x box
just his laptop that cuts outSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
When it does it, try a right click on the wireless icon and 'troubleshoot' - mine has updated drivers etc but sometimes just needs a reset0
