The sun is free online at https://www.thesun.co.uk.
It is also free on Android and IPAD tablets. It has been free since 30/11/2015.
Good old Rebecca Brooks made the decision when she rejoined the Sun a few weeks ago.
HTHs.

My hubby pays to download the Sun everyday and reads it on his iPad and he just said that he has never seen any Perks codes in the online version.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Hi all,
The Sun is also free on Android tablets. I have just downloaded the app on my tablet and it worked fine. I assume that it also works on IPADs, etc. at no cost.
I will update my OP in a second to make sure it is clear.
Apparently the Sun became free on 30/11/2015 and anyone paying (Is it £4.99 per month or per year ?) will not be charged for it after 30/11/2015.
I am surprised that nobody has not picked this up on this forum and reported it sooner.
I am sure that it will impact the sale of the paper copy of the newspaper.0 -
I am still being asked to pay?!0

Am I the only one who finds it more than a little ironic that it is someone presumably from Liverpool (based on their username) who is lauding The Sun, given how much it is despised in that city?'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -

What makes you think I am lauding the Sun ?
I am just giving a MSE idea to save money. For info, my daily newspaper is the Daily T/graph.
