Dog with dodgy tum

What have you been feeding up until now?
Thinking that folk here might be able to suggest what they have used. Maybe even start a new thread?
My 'newish' boy came with the most awful poops ever! I slightly solved the problem but then the kennels I use suggested Skinners Duck & Rice and he's doing really well on it. He has a wheat intolerance. (that from deduction not tests!)Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

She's been on lots of different foods and always had a good stomach. More recently she's been on James Wellbeloved lamb&rice and fish&rice. I'm wondering if it's the fish she's reacting to. The vet suggested kibble with venison or something else she's never had before, but it's not easy to find. She's had Skinners before and loved it so I might get some of that, but a flavour she's not had previously. She'll be on turkey, rice and scrambled egg for another 3 days so still have time to get some by mail order.0

I know not the cheapest but I've had similar problems with the family cat and she has been trying https://www.canagan.co.uk/ the country game flavour seems to be her favourite. However I rotate with http://www.wellbeloved.com/ light or no cereal versions. Both a mix of wet and biscuits.
As others have said small portions personally I would never stop feeding the pet unless vet has advised and only for a short period.0 -

Although its not a food I've ever used - never had to - lots of vets and people with vast experience of dogs with problem tums recommend Chappie original tinned food! It's a lifesaver for many dogs with colitis/dodgy tums.0

Burns make a venison & rice complete food- you could try asking for samples (they used to be very generous- in the past)
Skinners Duck & rice is meant for sensitive tumsBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

You can't go wrong with Chappie. My hound suffers with colitis now and again, and even the vet recommends Chappie instead of the rather expensive 'sensitive' foods you can get.
ASDA have an offer where you can get 12 cans for a fiver atm (a giant pack of 24 is £11.50 for some reason). My hound loves it as well, he barges you out of the way to get to his dish.

When I first rehomed Miss Leigh from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People (thank you Hearing Dogs), I was told to feed her Royal Canin Sensible (it's French). I did for a bit, but changed to Chappie dry food soon which was about a third of the price and she has been fine. Might be worth a try?“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Where did you get the Chappie dry food from please? I've never seen the dry version and I'd like Pipsqueak to not have just wet food all the time. She does like chappy wet food so she should like the dry version if I can find it.0 -
Chappie dry food is not the same as the wet food.
For a sensitive digestion it is the wet food that is recommended.
The dry food is low quality.0
