Nationwide bank account 5%

I have a nationwide bank account which gets 5% interest for 1x years, the year is up now its 1%,how long do I need to close account and reopen to get 5% again ???

Keep it, pay in £1000 a month for the 1%, divert £500 a month to the new Flex monthly saver and the balance to an account with TSB/Tesco etc?0
